Interested in playing JUNIOR HOCKEY in the
OTTAWA / OUTAOUAIS region?
With the 2023-2024 season all wrapped up, the National Capital Junior Hockey League (NCJHL) team coaches and management are already thinking ahead to the next season. The league has been in existence since 1969 and boasts a long history of very competitive hockey. The NCJHL is made up of 10 teams (in alphabetic order):
Almonte Inferno |
Cumberland Castors |
Gatineau Hull Volant |
Metcalfe Jets |
Morrisburg Lions |
North Dundas Rockets |
St. Isidore Eagles |
South Grenville Rangers |
Vankleek Hill Cougars |
Westport Rideaus |
|
The NCJHL games are played Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings (usually 1 or 2 of these days), and there are almost no other weekday games in the regular season schedule. This allows players attending college or university, as well as those working, to enjoy the challenges of playing competitive hockey in an organized league (governed by Hockey Canada), building friendships and having fun. |
